 Northern California Artist Susan Ticken's paintings have won numerous awards including in watercolor, pastel and realism categories. She enjoys working in a variety of mediums and subject matter. "Whatever the subject may be, still life, portrait or landscape, I want to impact my paintings with color, create a sense of mood, or include a narrative element to the piece, something that's calming or joyful to the viewer."
