Hey Kids! Learn to draw animals and faces, plus paint in watercolors, acrylics, pastels, paper collage, mixed media and sculpture. Something new each week. Design your ideas while having fun being creative! Parents, call for space availability. 3 Fridays a month for only $75, all art materials included. You must pre-register.
Private Art lessons for all ages Beginning drawing and painting instruction in the artist’s studio. No fear, you can do it! Learn how to see shapes in light and shadow, and a few tricks to help you to draw with confidence. Painting techniques and brush work will help you get started. For youth starting at age 9, teens and adults each for $30 hour by appointment. Most materials included. Do a private lesson, or get some friends together for a class! Introduction to drawing techniques Understanding the different drawing pencils, charcoal, drawing surfaces along with easy drawing techniques will be demonstrated to build your confidence and drawing success. Enjoy drawing without the pressure, have fun while learning something new.
Introduction to painting in acrylic Working from still life and photos you’ll get started in the joys of painting. Learn brush techniques and color mixing. Helpful if you’ve had some drawing instruction but ok if new to painting. Most materials included.
Greeting cards with paper collage Make your own Valentines Day cards, call for class info This is really fun! We’ll work with a variety of papers and paper collage our own cards. I’ll show you samples of beautiful greeting cards using a variety of materials. Plus material resource info. Examples of small watercolor postcards. Paper combined with acrylic and mixed media there’s so many things to make; cards, wall art, art books and much more. Get your home made projects going. Perfect for the holidays and birthdays!
